We’ve completed another round of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. We’ve also done some work on a number of new zones, with a focus around the Sanction area. Sanction is now a fully functioning starting city. Here’s a list of what we’ve been up to.
- Updated the following zones: Bugbear cave, Convent of Snow Wood, Sanction, Solanthus, Sanction Pit.
- Started a quest line for Sanction.
- Using lore on a mob now shows hp and max hp.
- Legacy style drink containers and fountains can now be used to drink from, gaining a buff based on the kind of liquid in the container/fountain.
- Pick lock now requires at least one point spent in disable device skill.
- Added unstuck command that will recall a character to the game’s mortal start room (set in cedit command) at a cost of exp and gold for characters over level 10. Below 10, it is free.
- Fixed a number of typos in the code.
- Put a cooldown on being ‘slammed’ to prevent balance issues of spamming it.
- Adjusted how max number of charmies is calculated.
- Made a fix so that mobs can benefit from affects that increase their Max HP.
- Spells that increase maximum hit points now increase hp by the same amount. When they wear off, they lose the extra hp as well, but will not drop them below 1 hp.
- Entangle spell is now blocked by freedom of movement.
- Reduced the duration of paralysis and stun affects across the board.
- Fixed how channel energy levels are calculated.
- Summon creature/nature’s ally 7, 8 and 9 now have different stats, with the higher level versions being more powerful.
- MUDlet package no longer auto downloads on DL version.
- Magic staff consumables now working as intended.
- Increased the enchantment level of random magic items for Dragonlance codebase only.
- Metamagic adept should now work properly and show up properly on abilities command.
