Crafting Guide

Create equipment with your own descriptions, materials and magical bonuses. You can also refine resources, resize existing equipment, complete supply orders and, with the right abilities, build golems.

These commands show your skills, equipped tools and stored resources. Begin with a plain item before attempting magical bonuses.

The usual crafting process is:

1. Equip the appropriate harvesting tool, find a resource area and use survey.
2. Use harvest where resources are available.
3. Refine ingredients when your chosen recipe requires it.
4. Choose your item type and variant, write its descriptions and assign materials.
5. Review with craft show, resolve the requirements shown by craft check, then use craft start.

Growing as a crafter

Use craft score to track progress and talents to explore crafting talents. You can permanently specialize in up to two crafting or harvesting skills with craft specialize <skill name>. Each specialization gives +5 to its checks and doubles its experience gains. Choose carefully: specializations cannot be changed.
