Chronicles of Krynn Game Features

Chronicles of Krynn is a very feature-rich game. Here we will list some of the more prominent ones.
Original Game World

Our game world is set in War of the Lance Era of Dragonlance‘s Krynn. Over 11,500 rooms in total.

Random Treasure

Our random treasure system allows random items to be acquired through killing mobs, opening chests and more.

Crafting System

Our crafting system allows for custom descriptions and stats of items, as well as the ability to resize items and restring them as well.

Multi-Classing

Our Multi-class system allows for up to five classes per character, with max level being 30.

16 Base Classes

We offer 16 base classes from the Pathfinder 1e SRD. We always try to stay true to Pathfinder rules where we can.

20 Advanced Classes

Advanced, or Prestige Classes can be unlocked using account experience. They aren't necessarily more powerful than base classes, but do offer an alternate progression path.

14 Base Races

Base races can be chosen by anyone at any time. They are all specific to the Dragonlance theme.

4 Advanced Races

Advanced races must be unlocked with account experience. They are more powerful than base races, but cost more experience to level up. Advanced races can only be chosen for new characters. An existing character cannot change their race.

Homelands

Homeland selection, allowing you to choose what part of Ansalon you hail from.

Describe Your Character

Custom short descriptions for characters, as well as detailed descriptions (when someone looks at you) and ability to add character backgrounds.

Menu Based Levelling

Menu-based levelling system, so you can see everything available to you on one screen.

Pre-Made Builds

Premade builds so those new to the MUD or Pathfinder 1e system can learn as they go without worrying about optimizing their build.

Character Respecs

Respec system allowing characters to rechoose their classes, feats, skills, ability scores and so forth, without losing experience, money or equipment.

Special Weapon Effects

Special weapon effects, such as flametongue weapons, vorpal weapons, keen weapons, defender weapons and so forth.

Epic Level Characters

Epic levels (20-30) with epic spells and epic feats.

Dragonlance Languages

18 spoken languages from different nations, races and societies.

Dragonlance Deities

Deity system with all 21 Dragonlance deities.

Fast Travel

Fast travel options, such as mounts, carriages and sea ports for faster travel between areas.

Landmarks & Auto-Walk

Landmark and auto-walk system, allowing you to auto-move to a number of locations, ensuring you'll never stay lost.

Storylines & Quests

Quest system with main quest lines for Palanthas, Sanction and Solace cities, and side quests to come, all across the map of Ansalon.

Note: Not all storylines are complete at this time.

Clan System

Clan system with clan ranks, clan banks and more.

Vast Array of Abilities

25 different skills, over 500 different spells or spell effects, over 100 psionic powers, and over 1200 different feats, class abilities and racial abilities.

Houses & Shops

Player owned houses and player owned shops.

Account System

Account system that tracks your characters, and any unlocked features such as advanced classes and races.

Auctioning Items

Real time player auctions available, with an auction house coming soon.

ASCII MAP

In-game map of your location and surrounding rooms.

Weapon Poisons

Weapon poisons which can be applied to deal additional damage as well as debuff your opponent.

Multiple Inventories

Multi-inventory bag system. Have your normal inventory, plus up to ten other bags that you can use to sort and store your gear, and even turn on auto-sort so items go to the right bag right away.

Bazaars

Special quest shops called bazaars allowing you to spend quest points on the random items of your type. For example you could request a ring with a +4 bonus, but the bonus type will be random, such as +4 strength or +4 resistance to water elemental damage.

Happy Hour!

Random ‘happy hours’ where experience, money gains and random treasure chance are increased.

Mail System

In-game mail system with inbox and sent folders.

Persistent Followers

Charmies (pets, summoned creatures, mounts, etc.) are kept over game sessions, as well as any gear they are wearing or carrying.

No Rent

Leave the game anywhere, without needing to rent at an inn, and all of your gear and possessions are kept.

Storeable Consumables

Consumable (potions, wands, staves) storage system so you can use them by the spell name instead of the consumable item name. Eg. ‘quaff mage armor’ instead of ‘quaff purple-potion’.

Food and Drink Buffs

Food and drinks are not required, but instead are a buff system, temporarily increasing your stats, skills, even giving you feats temporarily.

MUDlet GUI

We have a GUI (graphical user interface) for the MUDlet game client. It will auto-download if you connect via MUDlet.
